Its been a while since my last post but not much has changed. We only have 2 more weeks!!!!! of Dawson being in recruit school and we can not wait for this time to be over. Josiah is growing like a weed and in the 96% for height (who would have thought??) He is so much fun and every day we find ourselves laughing at something new he has discovered. This morning it was his hands. He just sat there and clenched them together and looked, and did it all over again for a span of about 20 min. :) So cute. The colic is almost gone I think, I am still off dairy but may start trying to ease it back in this week.
We can not explain how blessed we feel to have Dawson in a job he loves and a healthy growing little one. Thanks for the prayers.

6 Weeks and Colic
Its crazy how time seems to go by so fast and so slowly all at the same time. It feels like yesterday that we brought him home and that Dawson was starting recruit school with Forsyth Fire. But at the same time it feels like he has been here all along. He is growing so much! He gained 2lbs and grew 2 in when we went to the Dr.'s on Tuesday which put him at 11.3 lbs and 23.5 in long :) We figured out that his little episodes at night aren't from him being a pill but because he is colicky. So as of right now I am off all dairy and he is getting Gripe Water 4-6 times a day to try and help his little tummy out. They say between 5-6 weeks it is at its worst and then begins to go away or is gone between weeks 8-12. So on the bright side were almost through it, which is good, but were are both ridiculously worn out and are looking forward to Josiah feeling better and Dawson graduation from Forsyth Fire in October. Prayers are appreciated.
These pictures are from last week at 5 weeks but Ill post some more soon!

Josiah Macrae
I cant believe its already been 5 weeks since Josiah was born, but better late than never getting this thing going! He is perfect and everything with the birth and recovery went great, and he is perfect! He has already gotten so big, we will see how much he has grown at his one month appointment on Tuesday. As of 3 weeks ago he was 21 1/2 in and 9.5 lbs :) He is so long and getting to the point were he is starting to want to smile and laugh but isnt quite there.
